The Perth Royal Show is Western Australia's biggest community event, and the highlight of the spring school holidays, attracting thousands of visitors every year. With a rich history spanning 170 years, the Show is an iconic social and cultural event which showcases WA agriculture, small business and entertainment alongside family fun such as rides, showbags and activities.

This year, the Show will explode into full carnival atmosphere entertaining more than 400,000 visitors over a fun packed 8 days of action and celebration.

For the competitive type there are plenty of speciality areas for you to showcase your skills and compete with other professionals. Categories include Ring Events, Cattle, Poultry, Arts and Crafts, Education, Cookery and more.

Free entertainment is always a big part of the show, with so much on offer. You can't miss the racing & diving pigs, dog training, Farm 2 Food, Cooking with Kids, Isuzu D Max Precision, Fashion Parades and much more. An amazing fireworks display finishes off each night.

Foodies will delight in the huge array of offerings in Taste WA; capturing the best that WA has to offer and includes winners from the recent Perth Royal Food Awards. You can also tempt the taste buds with the 'hot and tasty' dagwood dog, healthy sandwiches, international food dishes and more.

A visit to the Show is not complete without experiencing the fun and excitement of Sideshow Alley. Many of the fairground favourites return year after year including the family friendly Dodgem Cars and Big Slide. There are also many rides for younger children with bouncy castles, giant slides, bumper cars, tea cups, mini ferris wheels and so much more.

Come One, Come All and Step Right Up! It's Carnival time, and with great prizes to be won, try your luck on one of world-class Sideshow Games. There games for everyone to enjoy including those based on skill or chance and the ever-popular "every player wins a prize".

The IGA Perth Royal Show, organised by the Royal Agricultural Society of WA, is the state's most important and longest standing community event.

All our major attractions are free. The IGA Perth Royal Show has 400 entertainers, 300 performances and nearly 100 hours of entertainment every day, ensuring fun and excitement for all ages.
